... .SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY STRONG WIND GUSTS... HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLY AN ISOLATED TORNADO LATE THIS AFTERNOON...
AT 315 PM... RADAR INDICATED BANDS OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER NEW JERSEY... FROM SUSSEX COUNTY SOUTHWARD INTO SOUTHERN GLOUCESTER COUNTY... AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. ANY HEAVY SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE LOCALLY STRONG WIND GUSTS... AND AN ISOLATED TORNADO IS STILL NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM.
PEOPLE IN NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY... THE NEW YORK CITY METROPOLITAN AREA... THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND SOUTHWEST CONNECTICUT SHOULD STILL KEEP AN EYE TO THE SKY...
